The best shape for every sauce
A thin sauce needs a shape it can coat. A sauce with pieces needs a cavity to carry them. Start from the pan.
Oil-based

Aglio e olio
Garlic, olive oil, chili, parsley. The thinnest sauce there is. It needs a strand that it can coat, with nothing to hide in.
